#ShortStories #DecisiveMoments Polar bears are SLOWLY dying of hunger, they’re drowning and could potentially disappear from the planet much sooner than previously expected. Even if they don’t live in South America, we can help save them from this end of the world. Here are some tips on how you can contribute, save money and improve your health.
The 31,000 bears struggle to survive on an ice sea that melts rapidly due to global warming. They face times of extreme food shortages, they have to swim more distances to get it, endure more time without it and unfortunately some do not find it and die of hunger. Others die drowned in the absence of firm ground to lean on.
Bears still live free and fight day by day in the cold glaciers of Canada, Greenland, Denmark, Norway, Russia, the United States (Alaska) and in parts of Iceland. But it’s a condemned freedom: they survive in less and less favorable conditions and increasingly difficult to overcome.
But we can still save them and if you want to start small we recommend this simple solution: use a bike to go to work or block with your colleagues to go together, not in separate cars. By just doing this you will be contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases that heat the planet and melt the ice. Also, you can symbolically adopt a polar bear, your contribution finances conservation and protection projects of these incredible beings.
